Thank you to everybody who has had us in their thoughts.
Harvest had wrapped up when the fire started and the wine is in a safe facility. Our property did not suffer damages. We did have to work off-site for a few days, but we are back to our schedule determined to continue on.
We are grateful to the firefighters and first responders who came from all over the country to help our community. It has been heartbreaking to see the destruction caused by the fire. Most importantly, how the fire superimposed on the situation caused by COVID-19 has affected the people who work in the valley and who are the foundation of our industry.
The Napa Valley is showing its camaraderie, community support and its resilience. We are proud of our heritage as part of this community.
If you are interested in supporting our community donations can be made to the Napa Valley Community Foundation: https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/NVCF
They have set a disaster relief fund that is directed to farm/winery workers and hospitality workers.
