										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In the late 60s, most people around Napa Valley still fermented wine in large redwood tanks. But as the valley upped its game, people began switching over to stainless steel—and throwing out their old wood in the process.</p>
<p>Thankfully, our father and grandfather Ken knew good building material when he saw it. When he encountered several such redwood staves, he kept them…. for decades, as it would turn out.</p>
<p>In 2016, Bill Taplin took these pieces of wood and created a custom table for our common area.</p>
